Crete- クレタ島 1 - 2
We arrived at Heraklion, the capital of Crete in a very windy morning. The hotel's outdoor pools and beach were empty. We just relaxed on the first day in Crete. On the next day, we joined a tour heading to Chania, about 125km west from Heraklion. We stopped at a few places during the tour. We enjoyed very much the scenic drive.
私達は強風が吹いている日にクレタ島の首都、イラクリオンに着きました。 ホテルの海岸に面した側には遊び場が沢山あるのですが、人影を見ません。 この日はリラックスする事に決めました。 翌日はイラクリオンから１２５ｋｍくらい西にある、ハニア行きのツアーに参加、ツアーi中３ヶ所にストップしましたが、アップ・ダウン連続のなかなか景色の良いドライヴでした。

The old city in Chania (or Hania) has these harbour area. The harbour is not for ferriyboats.
オールドシティのセクションは、この港近辺も入っていますが、フェリーなどには使用されていません。
The buildings on those two panorama images are standing along the crescent bay. People enjoy with drinking and eating outside.

A little drive to the Esat from Chania, there is a Commonwealth War Cemetery. You can see the ferry port in Souda.
ハニアから少し東へ行った所にある、連合軍の戦死者共同墓地。 Soudaというフェリーが着く港が見えています。
On the way back to Heraklion, we stopped at Rethymnon. There is again old city section, but the port is modern. A view of the new city.
イラクリオンへ戻る帰り道にRathymnonに寄りました。 ここにも旧市街がありますが、港はモダンです。 港から新市街の眺め。
