Myｋonos, Kusadasi, Patmos - ミコノス、クサダシ、パトモス
Myｋonos
We left Toronto on May 25th, but the scheduled airplane had a mechanical problem and delayed about 4 and a half hours. Consequently, we had to fly to Myｋonos from Athens in order to catch the cruise ship. Myｋonos is a lovely tiny island, and very popular among younger generation.
私達はトロントを５月２５日に出発しましたが、予定していた飛行機の故障が出発間際に見つかり、結局４時間半ばかり遅れました。 その結果ミコノス島へは、アテネから飛行機で飛び、予定のクルーズシップに乗り込みました。 ミコノスは小さい島ですが、若い人に人気があります。

Kusadasi
When you stop at Kusadasi in Turkey, you must go if you haven't visit Ephesus, . The ruins of Ephesus are magnificent, and you will be struck with the ancient culture.. We skipped to visit there this time, because the tour started at 7am, and we have been there twice before. I show pictures just around the port.
トルコ領土のクサダシに立ち寄られましたら、是非エフェサスへお出で下さい。 この古代エフェサスの遺跡は、壮麗です。 私共は過去に２度訪れましたし、ツアーは早朝７時からだったので、今回は行きませんでした。 次の写真は、港の近くの風景です。
Turkish custom is at the end of the port. We have to go through it to visit the ancient site, or the shopping quarter.
トルコ税関は港の突堤の端 右側の建物で、町に入るのにどうしても通らねばなりません。

Patmos: パトモス島
It is believed that St.John wrote "The Revelation" in a cave here in Patmos. St.John Monastery was built 11th C．, honouring him. 使徒ヨハネは、この島の洞窟で”黙示録”を執筆したと言われ、１１世紀に彼を讃えて聖ヨハネ修道院が設立されたそうです。
The monastery, like a fort, is seen . It is about 7〜8 km from the port. 白い家々の向こうに聖ヨハネ修道院が見える。
